Couture is a self taught British multidisciplinary artist with heritage from Trinidad and Venezuela, working with the mediums of paint, photography, film, music and poetry. What drives Couture is the expression of complex emotions. Those which can be expressed through words Couture will seek to express in the form of written art, however those emotions that are more instinctual, more abstract or subconscious, those will usually find their way on to the canvas, working primarily with acrylic paint on stretched canvas and canvas boards.
